Fixings :

For the Dhokla :

  • 2 Mugs Maize Flour (Makki Ka Atta) 
  • 1 Glass Peas (Matar), pulverized 
  • 2 Green Chillies (Hari Mirch), finely cleaved 
  • ~1/2 Inch Bit of Ginger, ground 
  • 1/2 Glass Coriander leaves (Hara Dhania) 
  • 1 Teaspoon Cumin Seeds (Jeera) 
  • 1 Teaspoon Dark Mustard Seeds (Rai) 
  • 1 Teaspoon Red Bean stew Powder (Lal Mirch) 
  • 1 Teaspoon Fennel Seeds (Saunf) 
  • 1 Teaspoon Turmeric Powder (Haldi) 
  • 1 Teaspoon Coriander Powder (Dhania Powder) 
  • 1.5 Teaspoons Salt, or as indicated by taste 
  • 1/2 Teaspoon Heating Soft drink 
  • 1.5 Mugs Water 


For the Hardening :

  • 1 Teaspoon Dark Mustard Seeds (Rai) 
  • 2 Green Chillies (Hari Mirch) 
  • 1 Teaspoon Cumin Seeds (Jeera) 
  • 10-12 Curry Leaves (Kadi Patta) 
  • 3 Tablespoon Oil 





Guidelines :

  1. Take Maize Flour (Makki Ka Atta) in a bowl and blend Salt, Red Bean stew Powder, Cumin Seeds (Jeera), Fennel Seeds (Saunf), Turmeric powder (Haldi) and Coriander Powder in it. 
  2. Presently include pounded peas, finely cleaved green chillies, preparing soft drink and coriander leaves to the flour blend.
